Animal Legal Defense Fund – Crime Tips App

The Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) released an innovative new app on February 20 to help people report animal abuse.

ALDF Crime Tips is designed to help anyone with an iPhone or Android device help animals by making it simple to report abuse and neglect right when you see animals in need of help or justice.

The free app, developed by CrimePush, allows you send a package of information, including the location and description of the incident, along with a photo, video and audio. Animal abuse crime tips reported by the app immediately alert your local law enforcement. CrimePush had already designed and built a national app for general crime reporting, so an infrastructure had already been established.
